Nón Lá - Makati City
About Nón Lá - Makati City
Nón Lá is a Vietnamese restaurant located in The Gallery, Makati, with a price range of ₱800 to ₱1,000. The establishment occupies an older building, which some customers note results in a noticeable cigarette smell and an overall dated atmosphere. Despite this, the restaurant is recognized for serving authentic Vietnamese dishes, with seafood and Thai-inspired sauces receiving particular mention.
Patrons appreciate the friendly and efficient service, as well as the genuine flavors reflective of Hanoi origins. The space is relatively small but considered cozy by some. While portions may be viewed as small relative to price, the quality of fresh ingredients, especially seafood, remains a highlight. Nón Lá is generally seen as a suitable spot for casual dining and drinks, though the environment may not appeal to everyone due to its aging premises.

Found a new favorite! Everything feels legit Vietnamese. The staff said the owners are from Hanoi and the food justifies so. Tbh there’s an old place smell but I think it’s the old building’s fault and not theirs. Good place for casual eats and drinks. Will definitely go back here.

The place is old and smells like cigarette (perhaps it's allowed to smoke inside?), but the food is good. Though serving might be a little small compared to the price
